This study investigated the relationship between cognitive distortion, self-esteem and depression among female adolescents who were involved in prostitution in Malaysia. Subjects for this study were 42 adolescents aged between 15 and 20 years old. Data for this study were analyzed by using Pearson Correlation. Implications for counselling are also discussed. An anonymous survey was distributed to field placement directors at CSWE accredited graduate social work programs. The survey asked questions about the placement of students at organizations that provide services to sex workers and the existence of courses in the curriculum that focus on sex work and sex workers.
