Amazing experience! We had the body pealing and then the full body relaxing massage. The girls were Excellent and professional service and really nice experience!! Very good prices! Relaxing and very Hubby and I found Animus via searching TripAdvisor and chose it because it was the highest rated spa in proximity to our hotel. We stopped in Saturday afternoon and inquired about the couple's massage advertised on their website.
Turned out they could accommodate us if we could come back in just over an hour. We were delighted to secure an appointment on such short notice. The facility is modern, spotless clean, and nicely decorated.
When you arrive for your appointment, you're ushered into a "calming room" first, where the lights are dim, the sofa is comfy, and the music is soothing. This was a first for me, and I've been in dozens of spas worldwide. We were shown into the massage room on time. We'd booked 80 minutes for a total of 60 euros, an incredible deal if the massage was at all worthwhile.
Turns out it was far beyond worthwhile. I've been getting massages at least monthly for 20 years, and this treatment might have been the best I've ever had. Hot oil was used generously, and the pressure was divine - deep enough to deal with some muscle knots but not so deep that I experienced pain which I generally do when someone is working out neck and shoulder knots.
So perfect I'm wishing I could take the masseuse back home with me! The menu is in Greek and English, and their website has an English version. The only improvement I could suggest is to use a towel or tie to secure long hair away from the neck, so it doesn't get oily and maybe some under-the-knees support for clients while face up. The location is difficult - the GPS on Hubby's phone sent us in the wrong direction, telling us we'd arrived while in front of address 15 when we still had two blocks to walk to address Strange numbering on Diamonte Olympiou.
