From here we return via the coastline, back to the city for approximately 90 minutes of Free Time to use as you please. Stopping in the central city with many attractions, shops and cafe's within easy walking distance. Departing Port Chalmers at am and starting off with a City tour with full commentary as we make our way through beautiful peninsula farmland to Larnach Castle.
A fine way to end your visit to Dunedin with the opportunity to taste some of our local beers. Please contact us for further advice. From here we return via the coastline, back to the city for a tranquil visit to the Chinese Gardens.
After the City Tour you have approximately 3 Hours "Free Time" to shop, have a great coffee or explore the city further. This option includes transport returning back to Port Chalmers by 2pm. Please notify us of any mobility issues so alternative arrangements can be made for you at Olveston. Train takes you along the coastline and to the hills overlooking your ship at Port Chalmers.
Great photo opportunities to be had. It then travels to the small seaside settlement of Waitati before making its return journey back to Port Chalmers. The train will drop you back near the historic church in the Port Chalmers township.
