Central America has long been a backpacking favourite, but no one talks much about girls in Central America; tragically, they are all too often overshadowed by South Americans, namely Colombian , Brazilian and Argentinian girls.
Due to higher levels of poverty and arguably more cultural dissimilarities from North America, girls from Central America are often seen as less approachable than girls from the aforementioned countries. But this isn't really true. Young girls and guys are virtually the same wherever you go. We're all just trying to make a connection. And if you step out of your comfort zone and talk to the women of Central America, you'll find that they're not so different after all.
